One of our Creative Writing group members, Paul, has recently had his poem, 'The Worry Train', published in the Daily Mirror.
Paul says, "I have suffered from extreme anxiety since I was 17 years old. I'm now 54 and still struggling, but writing poems and stories helps me to cope. I also really enjoy walking in the countryside where I live."
Congratulations on your achievement, Paul! If you would like to explore where your creativity can go, why not come along to our creative writing sessions? Contact us to find out all the details.

The Worry Train
Don't come onto the Worry Train
Where there's no sun but plenty of rain.
Where there is 'no', where there's no 'yes',
Where there is no more,
Where there is much less.
----------------
'Coz if you want to ride the Worry Train,
You must first get into the negative lane,
Where there's no smile but only tears,
Where there's no hope and only fears.
----------------
'Coz on the train there lies a carriage
It's all aboard for the negativity marriage,
There's a buffet that sells nothing at all,
Where there's a telly without football.
----------------
And there's a guard without a brain,
Where there's a loo without a chain,
There's a joke without a laugh,
And there's a bathroom without a bath.
----------------
There's a whistle without a sound,
And there's a wallet without a pound,
But if you are seeking to find elation,
Then get off with me at the happiness station.
