Activity Group Volunteers

We're on the lookout for enthusiastic volunteers to help bring our activity groups to life!

If you’re passionate about supporting others and making a real difference, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. You’ll play a key role in helping to run and organise our sessions, while encouraging and empowering attendees as they work towards their personal goals for mental health, wellbeing, and recovery.

Arts & Crafts Volunteer - Northallerton

Tuesdays 1pm - 3pm

If you're creative and enjoy planning activities, we'd love to hear from you. This role involves helping to plan and deliver simple arts and crafts sessions, preparing materials and encouraging people to get involved. Whether someone is trying something new or rediscovering a hobby, you'll help build their confidence and make sure everyone feels welcome and able to take part.

Events Volunteers - All Locations

Driver Support Worker

Do you enjoy driving and making a difference in people’s lives?

We're looking for a friendly, reliable volunteer to help drive our minibus – but it’s more than just getting from A to B. You'll be offering a safe, supportive journey for our clients, helping them stay connected to vital services, social groups, and the wider community.

New Talent Volunteers

Do you have a skill or passion you'd love to share?

Whether it’s yoga, reading, photography, tai chi – or something completely different – we’d love to hear from you! If you’re interested in leading a group or running a session, get in touch.

Social Support Group Volunteer - Richmond

Fridays 11am - 1pm

This role is all about creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. You'll spend time chatting with attendees, introducing people to one another, helping with refreshments and offering practical support to the group facilitator. Your presence will help people feel included, encouraging conversation and reducing feelings of isolation.

Volunteer Children & Young People's Counsellors

Are you a trained counsellor with a passion for supporting young people?

We're looking for volunteer counsellors to work with children and young people across Hambleton and Richmondshire. The need for mental health support is growing – and your skills could make a real difference in a young person’s life.

By volunteering your time, you'll help provide vital emotional support, build resilience, and give young people the tools they need to thrive.
