To mark World Mental Health Day we ran an information, activity and fundraising stall in Darlington town centre on Sat 12 Oct. Until the heavy rain came we saw a steady stream of people come and have conversations about what they wanted for their mental health, what services are needed in the town and very generously to give money towards our services.
The total amount raised was £113.73 which will be put to good use supporting the people of Darlington. We run a program of emotional resilience course modules to help people with tools and strategies to support their own mental health and this amount enables us to run one such course for 6 delegates.
With thanks to all those that supported us over this weekend, and donated to support mental health in our communities.
