All courses take place in an inclusive and supportive environment and are tailor made to meet the needs of the individual.

The dedicated team will provide step by step instructions, from the very basics, such as how to use a smart phone or tablet (for those who have never even switched on a computer) to the more advanced skills (for those who are seeking qualifications, assistance into employment, or access to further education courses).

Whether you wish to achieve a qualification, or simply want to learn new skills, the Digital Skills Project can help you to meet people and make new friends, improve your confidence and raise your self-esteem.

Accredited Courses & Qualifications

Learn My Way:

This course is aimed at people with little or no knowledge of using the Internet, E-mail, shopping/banking online or social media. Students work through the modules at their own pace to achieve an enrty Level 1 qualification.

Fun & Therapeutic Short Courses

Supported Study - we can help you to learn to use your tablet, Smart Phone or Laptop

Training sessions in one of the following areas:

  • Introduction to ICT (basic mouse/keyboard skills/word processing/desktop publishing/internet and email)
  • Portable Devices (using your device smartphones/tablet/laptop)
  • Digital Photography (picture composure/editing techniques)
  • Creative Media (desktop publishing – posters/leaflets/business cards)
  • Computer Essentials (computer settings, troubleshooting and good housekeeping techniques)
  • Interview Techniques (CV creation, letter writing, job search and interview preparation)
